Artist Bio
Hello!
My name is Cassie Frances Grannan and I am an Illustrator and Graphic Designer with a secondary love for ceramics and photography! I went to Northern Michigan University where I earned a Bachelor's of Fine Arts degree in Illustration and Graphic Design. During my time as a student, I worked in the Student Art Gallery and participated in 8 gallery shows.

Moving into my professional career, I started off by accepting a commission to design t-shirts and posters to promote the non profit organization Fillet for Friends that is based in Boca Raton, Florida. I was then given the opportunity to be the Lead Graphic Designer and Art Director for Ottawa Integrity PAC. Through that organization I designed logos and other promotional items for various digital and print media. I was a part of ArtPrize of 2021, four of my illustrations were chosen and displayed, that was such a great joy to be one of the participating artists. Most recently I was selected by Lions & Rabbits and GRand Taco for my poster and media kit design for the GRand Taco Competition of 2025, located in Grand Rapids Michigan. Also, I have partnered with a couple businesses, Oh Hello Paper & Gifts Co. and The 12th House where I showcase and sell my work at their storefronts. I am so grateful to work with such amazing people and businesses!

The thing I love most about creating art is the ability to tell stories and connect with people. The connections I have made have really impacted me as an individual and I hope to continue pursuing these types of meaningful connections throughout my career. I have seen first hand how art can be used as a powerful medium to share emotion and encourage self expression and acceptance. Personally, creating art, whatever it may be, keeps me grounded and also provides me with a sense of purpose. I try to encapsulate as many different stories and experiences in my art and I hope to share those stories with as many people as I can.
